ORGANISED VIOLENCE

BUENOS AIRES TERRORISM NEW YORK, Aug. 17 In shameful episodes of organised violence, 200 soldiers last evening flourished bayonets and other weapons and terrorised the centre of Buenos Aires, says the New York Times correspondent in the Argentine, capital. They were commanded by non-commissioned officers. The soldiers committed scandalous outrages, killing two citizens and wounding many others who refused to take off their hats when soldiers cried “Long Live Peron.” The soldiers repeatedly cheered Hitler and Mussolini and cried “Down with democracy, death to the Jews.”
