SOUTH-EAST ASIA AREA £ LONDON, Aug. 19 j Beaufighters and Mosquitos are r flying ceaselessly today, and will con- r tinue tomorrow, over prisoner-of-war j camps from the Burma border to j Bangkok, dropping food, cigarettes, e tobacco, medical stores and comforts s for British, Australian, American and r Dutch prisoners. i It is estimated that there are 20,000 prisoners in ten camps scattered along the railway west of Bangkok. There has been a rush to volun- j teer for the job. The pilots say they arb determined to get through, no matter how heavy the flak may be. The prisoners are believed to be 1 living under primitive conditions, r with few clothes. i t
