r m m* ■ C; f£ t . m i Yes —T o-day give thanks for /m/... ;. also give thanks to the men who made it possible. Yes, give thanks for Victory, but with a pledge for further effort. Japan has still to be conquered. Millions are starving they must be fed. Feeding the hungry, continuing the fight until Final Victory is won, New Zealand has a part in both these jobs. More directly, we still have thousands of men overseas who must be fed, clothed and paid. They must also be brought home. We have already spent £6,500,000 on loans to servicemen but have hardly scratched the surface of the rehabilitation problem. So Victory really means carrying on with the job fighting, working, paying. Yes, paying! And a practical way of giving thanks for Victory is to enlarge your contribution to the Victory Loan. To help pay for Victory and the problems that Victory brings.
