PETROL SIPHONED FROM CAR By removing the side door from its hinges thieves gained access to a garage in Ngaruawahia, the property of Mr W. L. Johnston, last night. Four gallons of petrol were siphoned from the tank of the car and some petrol coupons were taken. An attempt also appeared to have been made to remove the car.

By forcing a back window entry was also gained to the Horotiu Post Office last night. Nothing was removed-
