MASONIC ORDER
OFFICERS INVESTED After his installation as Grand Master of the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand the Governor-Gen-eral, Sir Cyril Newall, announced the appointment under his prerogative powers of the following officers and those present were formally in-vested:—Deputy-grand master, Mr W. J. Girling (Blenheim); senior grand warden, Mr C. N. Cathie (Wellington); junior grand warden, Mr G. Gilchrist (Te Aroha); provincial grand masters, Messrs S. M. Stone, 'Oliver Nicholson, J. G. Dykes, A. Bullock. J. D. Campbell, J. A. Nash, E. C. Hurdsfield, J. Baird, D. Mclvor, Dr. W. T. Simmons; assistant-pro-vincial grand masters, Messrs F. Mogridge (Nelson and Marlborough district) and Archbold (Otago district); grand lecturers, Dr. Ross Hepburn, the Rev. H. R. Fill, Messrs A. Bright, G. H. Davies and J. B. Thomson.
