ESCAPE FROM GERMANS

REFUGEES IN SWITZERLAND LONDON, Oct. 28 Seventeen thousand refugees, including 12,000 children, have thus far entered Switzerland from the French regions around Belfort, says the Times’ Geneva correspondent. The Germans have commandeered all foodstuffs, clothing, furniture, households goods and livestock, which have been sent to Germany. Factory equipment has also been removed.
