ATTACK ON TIRPITZ

HIT BY HEAVY BOMB • LONDON, Oct. 29 Another attack on the German battleship Tirpitz was made by British bombers in a Norwegian fiord to-day. At least one 12,000pound bomb found its mark. Low cloud was drifting over the battleship and rather than risk injury to Norwegian people some of the pilots brought their bombs home again.

When attacked the battleship Tirpitz was moored near the south end of Haakoy Island, four miles due west of Tromso. The attack involved a round flight of 2400 miles.
