VISITING MISSIONARY

FORMERLY IN SOUTH AMERICA Mr MacLeod Jones, a former missionary in Colombia, South America, is visiting Hamilton. He has been engaged in addressing meetings in connection with the Worldwide Evangelisation Crusade, a work he is organising in the Dominion. He will leave shortly for Putaruru.

The aim of the crusade is the evangelisation of the remaining unevangelised parts of the world in the shortest possible time. It is a militant fellowship, international and interdenominational, for the purpose of bringing Christ’s gospel to everyone. Its founder was the late Mr C T. Studd, an. English representative cricketer. The first field entered by the crusade was the Belgian Congo in 1914. Work has since been extended in eleven unevangelised lands. Crusaders on fields and home bases number 223.
