OBITUARY
MRS T. MCCARTHY
The death has -occurred of Mrs Bertha Mary McCarthy, wife of Mr T. McCarthy, a well-known settler in the Kaipaki district until his removal to Auckland 18 months ago. Mr and Mrs McCarthy, the former a returned soldier from the Great War, went to Kaipaki soon after the armistice. Mrs McCarthy’s indifferent health caused them to retire to Auckland, ancj her death occurred there a few days ago at the age of 57. She is survived by her husband, three sons and three daughters.
