FATAL INJURIES

AIR DEPOT ACCIDENT AUCKLAND, Saturday Fatal injuries were received by a member of the Royal New Zealand Air Force at the Parnell depot this morning. He was Robert Barcham Chandler, aged 39, aircraft hand, whose wife lives at Wanganui.

Mr Chandler was working a mechanical hoist at the depot when a two-ton case fell from a stack and he was crushed beneath it, suffering head injuries. He died shortly after admission to hospital.
