SICK AND WOUNDED PARTY NUMBERING 360 (By Telec-rapM.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday A hospital ship which arrived in New Zealand recently carried 360 sick and wounded New Zealand soldiers, a fair proportion being stretcher cases. In the party also were a few naval personnel, some Waacs and nursing sisters. The party was welcomed by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon P. Fraser, and the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones. After medical examination those not seriously ill will be allowed to go home on leave. The Auckland district members of the draft are expected to arrive at their home centres to-morrow.
