Night Comedy did his work pleasingly and should have prospects at Paeroa. Marlnoto and Royal Mask went once round In 2.9 1-5 and Gunman was not bustled at any stage to record 2.12. W. Caddy, who was Injured at the recent Avondale meeting, is making good progress and expects to be discharged within the next few days. Fortunately the extent of his injuries is not as serious as was at first thought, being confined to a lroken shoulder and a strained knee ligament. _______
