AIR FORCE WEEK
PRIVILEGES FOR PUBLIC The window displays in Victoria Street arranged by the Air Force authorities in connection with the Victory Loan campaign are causing widespread interest. An additional window display featuring wireless equipment is on view in the windows of Larsen’s Radio, Hood Street.
Next Friday visitors will be permitted to enter the Waikato Winter Show building between certain hours and view the many personnel at work in the engine repair section. Rukuhia Airport
On Sunday the Rukuhia airport will be open to the public between 1.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. A small charge will be made for admission to the airport and the money so collected will be invested in the Vicl tory Loan. Messrs Buses Limited will run buses at frequent intervals at special low fares, and all fares taken by the bus company will be invested in the Victory Loan. Full particulars will bfe advertised in this newspaper on Thursday and Saturday.
