Of 244 admitted to Calcutta hospitals yesterday 50 died. Seventy-five also died in the town of Dacca last week and over 100 died in ffie town of Chandpur between September 1 and September 20. Tt is officially announced that 2442 relief kitenens are feeding 82,000 throughout Bengal. Over 90,000 received free food in Calcutta in the week ended on September 11.
