MUSSOLINI’S HEALTH
SHADOW OF FORMER SELF NEW YORK, Sept. 23 Mussolini has just been operated upon at a Vienna clinic for chronic liver tumor, according to a diplomatic source, says the Stockholm correspondent of the New York Times. Mussolini is extremely run down and is only a shadow of his former self. Leading Nazis are reported to be in despair of getting mc\ out of him than the propaganda value of his name. The Germans retouched photographs of his recent meeting with Hitler before they released the pictures.
