PAYMENTS FOR WOOL
COMPLETION THIS WEEK Commontiiijr this morning on the announcement that payments for wool were hertia- made Hit* week, the representative or a Waikato brokerage firm handling* a considerable amount >*r wool for clients stated that the Government had earlier in the season deducted 10 per cent or tlie 'gross proceeds, and this was now being paid to brokers. IT the amount were le*s than £lO It was paid wholly in rash. Payment was also being made or 3.82153 per cent. Which represented deferred payment. He added that brokers were now i.u-v preparing settlements for their clients on Friday, September 21.
