Mrs M. C. Stranger, who has been the guest of Mrs S. Craig, Te Kuiti, has returned to Hamilton Mrs G. I. Tuck, Hamilton, is spending a few days in Papatoetoe. Mrs Clegg, Christchurch, who has been visiting Hamilton, has left for Te Kuiti where she will be the guest of Mrs L. Houchen. Mrs A. W. Darrington, who has been spending several months in Hamilton, has returned to Te Kuiti. Mrs M. Bailey, Auckland, is visiting Hamilton. Miss M. Gray, Hamilton, is visiting Mangapehi as the guest of Mrs M. Gray. During the week-end the first round for the Howden Vase was played at the Lochiel Ladies’ Golf Club s the results being as follows: Miss Revel 1 beat Mrs Lorimer 1 up, Mrs Monteith beat Mrs Yendell 1 up, Miss Hill beat Miss Perrett 1 up, and Miss Fraser beat Mrs McConnell 2 up.
