SOLDIERS’ COMRADESHIP
NEW ZEALANDER BENEFITS LONDON, July 15 Sergeant A. G. Gray, a prisoner in Stalag 353, writes of a “touching example of comradeship in this camp.” He said when a New Zealander was recently very ill and thought not likely to live, it was staled that a certain natural food tonic would be the greatest benefit. This tonic was contained in American food parcels. Sergeant Gray with SergeantMajor G. T. Seccombe approached the Americans, who immediately gave the tins and refused any payment. The New Zealander survived and is now recovering.
