GERMAN BOAT DESTROYED
ENGAGEMENT IN CHANNEL LONDON, March 8. British light naval vessels this morning sank a German E-boat in the Channel. A destroyer drove several German boats eastward, where they were intercepted by light craft and a running fight ensued. Later a German boat was found stopped. She was blown up by gunfire.
