REHABILITATION BOARD

WELLINGTON, Wednesday
The setting up of a rehabilitation board, in acordance with the provisions of the Rehabilitation Act 1941, was announced by the Prime Minister, the Rfc. Hon. P. Fraser, today.
The board will consist of Mr M. Moohan, the deputy-chairman of the National Rehabilitation Council, who, as the Act provides, will be chairman of the board, and the following .ive members, appointed by the Gover-
nor-General: —Messrs C. Ashv.uj, Secretary to the Treasury; C. \V Batten, Wellington; E. L. Cullen, M.P., Hawke’s Bay; S. W. Gaspar. Dunedin; and H. T. Mitchell, Rotcrua.
The appointment was also announced of Mr D. C. Sclater, Wellington, as secretary of the Rehabilitation Board.
