EXTENSION OF TERM (United Press Assn.—Klee. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 23 The term of the Viceroy of India has been extended from five to seven years. The Marquess of Linlithgow will thus retain office until April, 1943. Lord Linlithgow succeeded the late Marquess of Willington as Viceroy and Governor-General of India in April, 1936.
