WANTED FOR NEW YORK United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) NEW YORK. Sept. 22 A representative of the Bronx Zoo, Mr John Teevan, is leaving for Australia and New Zealand. He hopes to obtain the world’s largest collection of animal rareties, including Australia's koala, platypus and anteater. New Zealand’s kiwi, and China’s panda. The zoo has arranged to fly daily quantities of special eucalyptus leaves from California to New York if a koala is made available. Mr Teevan will travel 35.000 mile? by air. Marshal Chiang Kai-shek has arranged to hand over a panda for the zoo in appreciation of America's relief efforts on behalf of China.
