The zoo has arranged to fly daily quantities of special eucalyptus leaves from California to New York if a koala is made available. Mr Teevan will travel 35.000 mile? by air. Marshal Chiang Kai-shek has arranged to hand over a panda for the zoo in appreciation of America's relief efforts on behalf of China.
