RISE IN NORTH CANTERBURY (By Telegraph.—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday An increase of approximately 30 j per cent in rates levied on local auj thorities was approved at a meeting j jof the North Canterbury Hospital j Board, at which a budget of £412,000 was adopted.
