PLANE WRECKED
CRASH THROUGH HEDGE TWO FLYING ACCIDENTS (By Telegraph.—Pres? Association) WANGANUI, Wednesday Two mishaps, involving the loss of an Airspeed Oxford bomber, and damage to a Hawker Hind * light bomber, occurred to aeroplanes from the Ohakea Royal New Zealand Air Force station The Airspeed Oxford was approaching the landingfield when it crashed through "’a hedge round a field near the station. It hit the ground heavily and was much damaged. The pilot received a broken arm, and the other man in the aeroplane suffered shock. The Hawker Hind pilot had a forced landing near Kakariki. and managed to put his machine on tne ground with only slight damage. The pilot suffered slight abrasions.
