ENJOYABLE LUNCHEON

WAIKATO LYCEUM CLUB A highly enjoyable and successful luncheon was held on Tuesday by the Waikato Lyceum Club, when the speaker was Mrs H. Ross. I-lor subject was the war work being done in Hamilton by the various women’s organisations and the results that had been achieved. Mrs Ross was presented with a posy of flowers on her arrival by the president, Mrs H. Douglas, and J at the conclusion of the address Mrs A. A. Holmes, on behalf of the country members, proposed a hearty vote of thanks to the speaker. Those present were:—Mesdames H. Douglas, D. Robertson, H. T. Gillies, F. Bullock, C. L. Mac Diarmid, T. A.
