CHILDREN OR HORSES?

CRITICISM IN COMMONS SUPPLY OF SHIPPING (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Aug. 22 It was suggested in a House of Commons question by Mr W. Gallacher, Communist member for Fife, that shipping space which might have been used for the evacuation of children overseas had been taken up by racehorses, and the attention of the Minister of Shipping, Mr R. H. Cross, was called to the case of 12 horses recently despatched in a single ship.
