ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
GAMES FOR TOMORROW WANDERERS AND ROTOWARO Tomorrow’s main Soccer match at Seddon Park, between Wanderers and Rotowaro, will have an important bearing on the South Auckland championship. A win or draw for Rotowaro would assure that team of the premiership. Should Wanderers win, however, which is by no means unlikely, Rotowaro would have to play Glen Massey for the championship. The game should be fast and even, and some good football may be expected. At Huntly, Glen Massey will play the local team. Rovers has a bye. The full draw for all grades is as follows: Senior: Wanderers v. Rotowaro, at Seddon Park, No. 1, 3 p.m.; Huntly v. Glen Massey, at Huntly. Junior: Shaw Cup Knockout: Wanderers v. Rovers, at Seddon Park, No. 2, 3 p.m. Intermediate: Technical A v. Wanderers, at Seddon Park, 1.45 p.m. Return Match At the meeting of the Control Board of the Auckland Football Association, held on Wednesday night, it was decided to notify the South Auckland Football Association that a return match between South Auckland and Auckland B, could be arranged as a curtain-raiser to the English Trophy match between Canterbury and Auckland, at Blandford Park on September 21.
