LIQUOR NEAR DANCE

TWO FINED £5 EACH Fines of £5 and costs each were imposed on Vincent Campbell James and Herbert Ansley Roxburgh when they were charged before Mr S. L. Paterson. S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Hamilton, today with having liquor in their control in the vicinity ot a dance hall in Hamilton o*n June 22. Neither defendant appeared in Court. Constable A. A. Gudsell said he saw James leave the dance hall and drink beer from a bottle when he was in the street. Roxburgh admitted being with James and said he had shared expenses for the beer.
