Copyright) (Received April 8, 3.15 p.m.) AUGUSTA (Georgia), April 7 With an under pat score in the fourth round of 71 Demeret won the championship. His total was 280. James Ferrier, the Australian with 296, told the Australian Associated Press that he was satisfied with his play. Professionals here consider him dangerous and liable to upset any tournament when he is in form. He will go to Chicago on April 4, thence to Detroit, and will compete in the metropolitan open championship at Grand Rapids.
