PLANE CONSTRUCTION
A REVOLUTIONARY TYPE 300 MILES AN HOUR (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright; MONTREAL, April 6 Officials of the Curtiss-Reid Air- ! craft Corporation reveal that the concern is undertaking the construction of a revolutionary type of engine electrically powered. They emphasised that the work is wholly I experimental. < Scanty descriptions indicate that j the constructors are using batteries of a new light-weight type. It is 1 rumoured that the speed of machines * fitted with these engines will be 300 miles an hour.
