LOAN APPROPRIATION

BUILDING SOCIETY BALLOT The Star-Bowkett Building Society conducted an appropriation by ballot in Hamilton on Friday night. The chairman of directors, Mr F. Bullock, presided. A sale by tender was to have been held, but there were no tenders and according to the rules a ballot was conducted. As a result Mr Robert Gilmore, of Whatawhata Road, Frankton Junction, holder of cluster No. 120, became entitled to a loan of £6OO. Mrs S. A. Cater, of Cook Street, Hamilton East, became entitled to a loan of £4OO.
