j Two freak calves having a resemV s i lance to bulldogs, were born recent') | to a Jersey cow on Mr D. O’Connell's . j farm, Manutuke, Poverty Bay, stat-s * ' the Hawke's Bay Herald-Tribune. The 1 | calves, which were both stillborn, hii a j large flat faces, short bodies and '* ! stumpy legs. The face of each animal j was most unusual, there being no nose and the nostrils hardly discernible. It | is unusual lor a dairy cow to give ! birth to a freak calf, and il is still s more unusual for twins to be both deI formed. -
