FALL ON SLEDGE
PUTARURU FARMER KURT GIRL PALLS WHILE PLAYING Mr George Mcllardy, aged 56, married, a farmer of Putaruru, received injuries to the back when he slipped and fell on a sledge while working on his property yesterday. He was brought to the Waikato Hospital in a St. John Ambulance and his condition this morning is stated to be satisfactory. INJURY TO ARM An injury to the arm was received by Evan de la Rue, aged 3, daughter of Mr and Mrs F. J. de la Rue, of ' i Kaipaki, when she fell while playing i at her home yesterday. She was admitted to the Waikato Hospital last | evening. TWO BROTHERS HURT 1 MOTOR-CYCLE SKIDS 1 Abrasions and bruises were received [ by two brothers, of Auckland, when the motor-cycle they were riding skidded on the Great South Road near - the Fairfield Bridge and collided w'ith i the concrete structure. The motorcyclists were youths, A. and R. Pooley, ; of Mount Boskili, and they were proceeding from Auckland to Hamilton. I A. Pooley was riding tlie machine i with R. Pooley on the pillion seat. I The pair was taken to the Wal- ■ kato Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, but after receiving treatment were allowed to proceed home. The motor-cycle was extensively damaged. 1 ... ■■■■—■
