COMING-OF-AGE PARTY At the Masonic Hall recently. Mr and Mrs J. B. Porter held a delightful party to celebrate the coming-of-age of their son Darrall, who is a member of the Xew Zealand Permanent Army Service Corps in Wellington. The evening was spent in dancing, music being supplied by Mrs Glover (Te Aroha • and extras by Miss M. Clarke and Mrs C. M. Davis. A tap dance by Miss 0. Skipper and D. Evcritt was much enjoyed. A delicious supper was served and alter the usual toasts had been honoured the guest-01-honour was presented with the traditional key and a beautiful birthday cake was cut. Those present were:—Mrs J.
