SHERRY PARTY
GIFTS FOR LARDER Mrs Hugh Morton and Miss Pat Haycraft were hostesses at the home of Mrs Morton on Thursday night at a delightful sherry party for Miss Mary Ryan and Mr H. Sayers, whose marriage takes place today. Spring flowers were charmingly arranged in the rooms and a very cheery hour was spent by the guests, who brought gifts for the larder. Mrs Morton was wearing a frock of black sheer, Miss Haycraft was in gypsy striped georgette, and Miss Ryan wore turquoise-blue marquisette. Those present were :—Mesdames Roy Wilson (Te Awamutu), K. Barlin, Pringle Nelson. H. McFarlane, L\ Hunt, J. Gamble. Misses Alison Barnby, Gwen Foster, Marjorie and Joan Campbell.
