CARD AFTERNOON

IN AID OF CARNIVAL FUNDS A delightful afternoon was given by the committee of the Country Quean, Miss Barbara Taylor, at “Abergeldie,” the home of Miss Jessie Watt. Contract, auction bridge and live hundred were played. The rooms were decorated with spring flowers and berries and warm log Fires added to the comfort of the guests. The hostess was wearing a green frock with gold trimmings, Miss Barbara Taylor, who wore a tan suit and brown accessories, was presented with a shoulder spray of primroses. The winner of the contract bridge was Mrs 11. P. Nelson with the highest score, the hidden number being possessed by Mrs S. Banks. Auction bridge was won by Mrs W. Munroe, Mrs D. K.
