COMING-OF-AGE PARTY
FOR FVIR F. BOWLER A jolly 21st birthday party was held at the home of Mr and Mrs F. Matuschka, Rukuhia, recently in honour of Mr F. Bowler, when the evening was pleasantly spent in dancing and competitions. " The music was supplied by Messrs Eric Houchen and J. Johnson, competitions being won by Mr A. Robinson, Miss Puck, Miss L. Ounford and Mr Dunford. Following the serving of a delicious supper, Mr J. 11. Bowler proposed the health of the guest-of-honour and presented him with the traditional key. Mr Bowler suitably replied. Mrs Matuschka received the guests in a frock of bottle-green souple satin and Mrs Bowler was wearing a navy georgette and lace gown. Those present were:—Mesdames Matuschka, Bowler, J). B. Powell, H. L. Bowler, J. Bowler, L. Kerrisii. Smith, Day, W. Robinson. Misses I. Bowler, G. Dunford. ■>. Martin. J. Gray, M. Puck, L. Devitt, P. Grogan, L. Dunford.
