ASHBURTON EXPERIENCE (By Telegraph.—Press Association) ASHBURTON, Friday The higher levels In the Ashburton I County experienced a heavy fall of i last n*rht. Mcthven recorded five inches, with 10 inches in the Ashburton Gorge and 18 inches nearLake Heron. The Ashburton Borough had only heavy rain, an inch and ahalf falling during the night. Some power lines are down in Hie open districts, and telephones also are in--1 terrupted. I
