CONGESTION FEARED
ROTORUA PUBLIC HOSPITAL more occupants each month (Special to Times) ROTORUA, Friday Seriously congested conditions at the Rotorua Public Hospital and difllculties which would arise under present conditions in the event oi any j emergency such as an epidem •. were emphasised by the Rotorua Borough | representative on the Waikato Hospital Ho u’d, Mr J. Banks, in an interview. Mr Banks said that a time the hospital was almost full to i capacity in all wards, and these conditions to a greater or lesser degree | Jiad obtained lor a number of months , past. Last year the average number ! of occupied beds at the hospital had been £3, but so far this year the monthly averages had been creeping up until it appeared inevitable that Just j year's average would be considerably j exceeded.
