CITIZENSHIP OF EDINBURGH CONFERRED ON MR KENNEDY (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received April 22. 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, April 21 The police ejected a number of members of the Protestant Action 'Society during a disturbance at the ceremony of conferring the Freedom of Edinburgh on the United States Ambassador. Mr J. P. Kennedy. Shouts of protest, at the moment of conferment were drowned by the organist striking up “the Star-Spangled Banner.” Mr Kennedy is a Catholic.
