PURCHASED BY GERMANY £216,658 IN THREE MONTHS (B 3 Telegraph.—Press Association! WELLINGTON, Tuesday Aoeording to information received from Berlin by the German ConsulGeneral for New Zealand. Herr Ernst Ramm, Germany bought the following quantities of New Zealand butter over three months:—December, 1938, £O,OOO cases, value £55,000 sterling: January, 1939, 20,000 cases, £58,750 sterling; February, 1939\ 27,133 cases, £83.577 sterling; total, 67,133 cases, £197,327 sterling, equivalent to £246,658 in New Zealand currency.
