An outbreak of fire in a medicine store gutted the building and necessitated the scull ling in Ihe Naples Harbour of the hospital ship Helouan from which the entire crew jumped overboard in their night attire. They were rescued. The blaze threatened ihe Savoia an 1 other adjacent liners till ihe Helouan was lowed away.
