The barometer reads 30.45 and has very little movement, locations are for fair to cloudy weather to-day and possibly to-morrow with colder temperatures and westerly winds prevailing. The Rainfall. The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist covering the WaikatoThames Valley is as follows: Forecast: Light to moderate south-easterly winds prevailing. Weather fair to cloudy and cool with some frosts to-night. Seas slight to moderate. General Inference: Pressure is still very high over all the Tasman Sea and the New Zealand area but the northern part of the shallow depression yesterday affecting the southern part of the South Island now lies across the centre of the North Island.
