FANCY DRESS BALL. The annual fancy dress ball of the Putaruru District High School, held on Friday eVenlng, proved an unquall—tled success. The outline of the hall was soft—ened \vlth bamboo greenery. and the pink, mauve and green decorations formed a brilliant background for the gaily coloured frocks.
