TE PAHU FUNCTION

“TIN-CANNING” PARTY. Mr Riddolls, formerly teacher at Karamu School, and his wife, who are spending their honeymoon in the Te Pahu district, were given a tin-can-ning at “ Blue Ridge” recently, when a very pleasant evening was'spent with a few friends. During the evening community singing, 'songs and humorous recUations and dialogues were much enjoyed. Mrs Riddolls, who wore cherry velvet and silver lame, gave some clever songs and impersonations. Prizes for competitions were won -by Mesdames F. Clark and T. Sanders. Among those present were: Mrs Clark, wearing shell pink lace: Mrs Saunders, blue organdie; Mrs M Arthur, green taffeta.
