KAWHIA ROAD.

TE KAWA ROUTE OPEN. According to reports from the Hamilton office of the Automobile Association this morning, the main highway to lvawhia via the Te Kawa Cross Roads is now open for traffic, but there is now a ford where there was formerly a bridge. Slips on the road are partially cleared, but a number of washouts still exist, necessitating oneway traffic at those places. Motorists are advised to observe care over these portions of the road.
