ANNUAL DANCE.
FUNCTION AT TE MATA. The Te Mata Athletic Association held their annual dance in the Te Mata Town Hall on Monday evening, when there was a large attendance of dancers from all parts of the district. Mr Frank Vernon was M,C. and excellent dance music was supplied by the Midnight Revellers. Novelty dances were won by Miss C. Cussen and Mr B. Nicholson and Miss H. Bavarre and Mr L. Bregman. Among those present were:—Mesdames T. Wade, wearing blue and white spotted crepe; D. Robertson (Raglan), red and white crepe faille; F. Bates, floral silk; J. Bartlett (Auckland), sky blue and navy crepe; J. Mitchell, ivory spun silk; G. Phillips, flame organdie; E. Jerome, ivory satin; Van Reinan, black satin. Misses M. Vanhoutte, pink crepe; May Booth (Hamilton), pale pink crepe; P. Bunyan (Hamilton), navy flat crepe; P. Edney (Auckland), white hand faggoted crepe; I. Davies (Kawhia), ivory sand crepe; P. Thovne fKawhia), blue mstrocain; J. Davies (Kawhia), ivory lace; N. Bregman, dusky pink satin; A. Whiteman, green and pink patterned crepe; A. Rendell, flame crepe; T. Bregman, pink duchess satin; P. Phillips, dull pink marocain; D. Leakey, red satin; G. Vernon, pink spotted crepe de chine; G. Porter, rose velvet; B. Cushman, ivory crepe de chine; M. Andrews (Auckland); D. Vernon, floral crepe.
