Messrs H. Y. Cameron, C. B. Fraser (Auckland), C- Plummer and H. Boulton (Wellington), are at the Hamilton Hotel.
Mr Ralph Simmonds, assistant editor of the Melbourne Herald, was a passenger by the Monterey yesterday on a business visit to Auckland.
The Hon. M. P. Hynes, Minister of Labour and Industries in Queensland, arrived at Auckland yesterday by the Monterey.
Mr W. B. Faulkner, a prominent Melbourne business man, arrived at Auckland by the Monterey yesterday on a trip to New Zealand.
Mr W. Y. Ivlrkman, of Hamilton, and Mr F. H. Anderson, of Cambridge, are attending a meeting of the Conciliation Council at Auckland tp-day.
Mr R. J. Wentzel, who has been transferred from the Cambridge Post Office to the staff of the Matamata office, left Cambridge during the week-end.
Mr C. H. Adolph Mann, of Tunbridge Wells, England, examiner to the Trinity College of Music, London, left Hamilton last evening for Wellington. He well leave New Zealand on Friday.
Sir Wallace Bruce, formerly Lord Mayor of Adelaide, was a through passenger yesterday by the Monterey, on a business visit to the United States and England.
Mr .Tosc Balthasar, Consul for Belgium in Sydney, was a passenger by the Monterey, which called at Auckland yesterday. lie is on a holiday trip to San Francisco.
Sir Frank Gavin Duffy, formerly Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia, arrived at Auckland by the Monterey yesterday on a holiday visit. He is accompanied by his son, Father Guy Gavin Duffy, of Ballarat.
Mr A! A. Struthers, an executive officer of the Anglo-Persian Oil Company, stationed at Abadan, in the Persian Gulf, arrived at Auckland by the Monterey yesterday morning on a pleasure trip.
Colonel the Hon. George Keppel, arrived at Wellington yesterday by the Rangitane on a fishing holiday. He is the third son of the Earl of Albermnrle and brother of the Hon. Sir Derek iKeppel, master of the King’s Household.
Mr M. C. Fealherstonc, London director of V\ right, Stephenson and Company, Limited, who has retired, arrived at Wellington by the Rangitane yesterday, to make his home in New Zealand.
The Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. W. Lee Martin arrived from Wellington this morning. To-night he will be the guest at a social at Te Uku and to-morrow he will meet the directors of the Bruntwood cheese factory together with Mr R. Coulter, M.P. for Waikato. In Hie evening, Mr Martin will be the guest at a social lendered by Huntly citizens and on Friday will atttend, a, social function at Nsaruawahla.
