DIOCESAN SCHOOL
END OF YEAR. BREAKING UP CEREMONY. The annual breaking up ceremony and presentation of prizes of the Waikato Diocesan School for Girls was held in the school grounds, River Road, yesterday morning, when there was a large attendance of parents and friends of the pupils. The lawns and gardens were looking very lovely and were much mired.After the presentation of prizes a delicious morning tea was served and musical items by the girls were greatly appreciated. Drill displays by the senior and junior girls were given with grace and precision and a spirited Irish dance by the entire class was much enjoyed. At the commencement of the .function beautiful bouquet's were presented to the Headmistress, Miss A. E. Satchell and Mrs J. M. Allen, of Morrinsville, who presented the prizes.
