MOTHER AND 80N HANGED. ATTEMPT TO SECURE INSURANCE. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Cop.vrlgm. NEW YORK, June 10. The executions of live murderers were carried out in the United States on Saturday. The first was Hie electroculion of two brothers and a companion, who were responsible for the bank robbery at Needham, Massachusetts, in February, 1934. A mother and son were hanged in Delaware for Hie murder, seven years ago, of Hie woman’s brother in order to secure 2000 dollars of insurance. Stic was (lie iirsl white woman hanged in the United States. Another son was sentenced to imprisonment for life for complicity in the same crime.
